You tell me which friend, whether it is coffee or a video call, and roughly how soon. I read your Google Calendar, pick three open times that fit your week in Portland, and write a short invitation in your words. You approve the note before anything goes out, and it goes from your own Gmail so your friend sees it comes from you. When they reply with a time, I put the event on your calendar and send them the invite, and I nudge once if they go quiet. Balanced to your settings: nothing fancy, no chasing a friend more than once, and I check in only when I need a yes.
